Michael Klein leads the Blockchain & Multiparty Systems Architecture practice within Accenture’s Technology Incubation Group where he is responsible for guiding organizations in their journey to collaborate and build new business models upon innovative technology, such as blockchain. In this role, he has led Accenture’s blockchain and data privacy thought leadership, training, and growth strategy. He is also Accenture's sponsor for its contributions to Hyperledger Cactus and Bevel. Prior to his work in emerging technologies, Michael spent 10 years as a delivery executive and architect within Accenture’s Health Technology practice where he held a variety of positions throughout the health insurance industry. He has deep experience in health payer technologies, data, and systems with functional focuses on eligibility, billing, claims, actuarial, and underwriting. Michael serves on the Board of Directors for the Linux Foundation's Confidential Computing Consortium and the Enterprise Ethereum Alliance.
