Nigel Gopie is the Director of Marketing for IBM’s blockchain portfolio covering Platform, Solutions (e.g., Food Trust, TradeLens, Trust Your Supplier, World Wire), and Consulting Services, enabling businesses to accelerate their success no matter where they are in their blockchain journey. Before joining IBM Blockchain, Nigel was an Associate Partner in Digital and Analytics with IBM Global Business Services, where he empowered diverse teams to transform businesses by designing client-centric solutions using agile methods, advanced analytics, and design thinking.

Nigel has a Ph.D. in Psychology and a Hons. B.Sc. in Neuroscience. His work has been featured in the New York Times, BBC, NPR, The Guardian, Globe and Mail, The Telegraph, Time, Time, and other international media outlets. Nigel resides in New York City, having previously lived in Toronto, Montréal, and Port of Spain.
